Get your chopsticks ready! Melrose is about to welcome a new hot spot for plant-based food and drinks! APB (which stands for All Plant Based) will be opening its doors later this month, featuring vegan cocktails and mocktails and an entirely plant-based sushi concept from Chef Niko Zaragoza, designed to complement the drink menu. APBâs spacial design is inspired by vintage greenhouses, complete with trellised booths reminiscent of a beautiful English garden.

APBâs Vegan Cocktails and Mocktails
Enjoy a night out without worrying about the plant-based status of your drinks. Barman Julian Cox has designed a full menu of vegan cocktails that feature only vegan-certified alcohol. Sip on a creamy âBeets By J,â which comes with Añejo tequila, beet shrub, spiced pear, and citrus, clarified with almond milk. Or enjoy their Crimson & Clover Club, crafted with crimson berry-infused California Pisco and housemade APB raspberry jam. For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, there is a wide range of mocktails to choose from, including a â0 Hourâ menu perfect for those who are looking for a post-work drink but donât want to imbibe. Order the âRamos Fizz,â a veganized sour including Amass Riverine, citrus, vegan cream, vegan egg whites, rosewater, soda water, and rose petals. APB will be alcohol free every Sunday, allowing patrons a weekly reset.
APBâs Plant-Based Sushi
The pristine dining offerings suggest traditional sushi, drawing heavily from Chef Zaragozaâs prolific experience in Japanese restaurants, where he mastered flavor profiles and knifework. Enjoy classics such as their Philadelphia Maki, which comes with smoked âno salmon,â carrots, cream cheese, avocado, and a sprinkling of sesame seeds. Or order for the whole table with their massive Sushi Boat, which includes your choice of two cut rolls, spicy garlic edamame, four ceviche tacos, and choice of two hand rolls. Finish your meal with Ube Cheesecake in a vegan cookie crust with oat-based whipped topping. Thereâs something for everyone to enjoy!
