Cadbury Plant Bar
Cadburyâs Plant Bar marks a milestone for the iconic chocolate brand.
Following the disappointing news that the brands accidentally vegan chocolate Bournville was no longer suitable for vegans, dairy-free chocolate lovers across the nation began to get impatient.
The new vegan certified chocolate bar is made with a blend of cocoa, almond paste, and rice extract, to deliver delicious chocolate, with a lusciously smooth texture.
Accompanying the announcement, Cadbury has issued a very British apology to all plant-based eaters across the country.
The apology reads: âDear plant-based Britain, Weâre sorry.
âSorry, itâs taken this long. Sorry, it seemed like we werenât listening. Sorry for not being able to respond to the rumours. And sorry for all the other chocolate you had to eat while you waited.â
Cadbury continued by explaining that it wanted its first vegan chocolate to be perfect.
âWeâve worked hard to add this delicious, dairy-free option to our iconic rangeâ
In a statement made to Vegan Food & Living, Michael Moore, Marketing Manager at Cadbury, said: âWeâre delighted to finally confirm that the rumours swirling around Cadbury Plant Bar are true!
âWeâve worked hard to add this delicious, dairy-free option to our iconic range, and we can only apologise for making our fans wait.â
With the rising demand for dairy-free chocolate, we hope that Cadburyâs latest launch will encourage everyone to give plant-based a try.
