Cedar Park, Texas â Equipped with informative activity booklets to pass out for free to youngsters, a crew of PETA and Texas Animal Freedom Fighters supporters will call attention to animal welfare concerns at Carden International Circus on Friday and ask that parents be truthful with their children about Cardenâs history.
When: Friday, September 3, 6:30 p.m.
Where: 2100 Avenue of the Stars, Cedar Park
âThese elephants spend most of their lives chained up, and no child would want to see them forced to perform stupid tricks if they knew that,â says PETA Foundation Director of Captive Animal Law Enforcement Rachel Mathews. âPETAâs giveaway is sure to appeal to compassionate young minds who want to see animals protected, not harmed.â
PETAâwhose motto reads, in part, that âanimals are not ours to use for entertainmentââopposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview.
