Co-op Reveal Festive Vegan Foods for 2021

The popular GRO brand by Co-op has revealed some of its upcoming festive range including a sandwich, fondue, snacks and main meals.

The GRO brand currently produces a vast variety of products such as The Incredible Burger, The Chick’n Burger and a large range of convenience foods.

The Co-op revealed several products including the GRO Turk’y Feast Sandwich, GRO Ho Ho Spicy Fondue, GRO Ho Ho Stuffing Balls, and the GRO Ho Ho Faux Turk’y Joint.

The Turk’y Feast sandwich contains a soy-based turkey style meat substitute alongside carrot, parsnip, cranberry sauce, bread sauce and stuffing on a sage and onion bread and will be priced at £3.

The spicy fondue is a vegan alternative cheese with jalapeno, spring onion, smoky paprika and roasted pepper priced at ÂŁ3.50.

The stuffing balls are sage and caramelized onion at ÂŁ2.35 and the main turkey style joint will be soya based and priced at ÂŁ4.95.

The seasonal snacks include the Co-op Irresistible hand-cooked, Ultimate Roast Potato Crisps 150g for ÂŁ1.70 labelled vegan as well as Co-op Gravy puffs 150g for ÂŁ1.

These seasonal products are perfect for a crowd-pleasing Christmas dinner or any other festive feast and are already gaining positive responses on social media with one user on the VFUK Instagram page commenting “So many options for Christmas this year I’m excited” and another user saying “Christmas is sorted!”
