Crafty Counter, a whole food plant-based company known for its vegan nuggets, has announced plans to release a fully vegan hard-boiled egg! The WunderEgg has a patent pending, and its public release is coming as soon as the patent is granted.
WunderEgg: The Vegan Hard-Boiled Egg
We’ve seen a lot of vegan egg replacements over the past couple of years, but so far, no one has perfected a plant-based hard-boiled egg! Enter WunderEgg. The plant-based egg is nut-based with almonds, cashews, and coconut milk. The yellow yolk gets its coloring from turmeric, and the eggy flavor comes from black salt.
Aside from nuts, the WunderEggs are very allergen-friendly, as they are free from soy, gluten, grains, and—of course—eggs and dairy. The vegan eggs will come in a package of two and are perfect for slicing on breakfast sandwiches, dicing in a loaded vegan salad, or simply eating whole with a little sea salt. Early taste tests conducted by Crafty Counter have shown that vegetarians and meat-eaters love the product as much as vegans! Stay tuned for a list of nationwide retailers carrying the product after its release.
Be the First to Try the Vegan Hard-Boiled Eggs
Crafty Counter is looking for vegan taste-testers and influencers to be a part of the soft release. Crafty Counter’s other products—WunderNuggets—are available in stores such as Walmart and those under the Kroger brand (Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, etc) across a dozen different states, and they also offer nationwide shipping when you purchase products directly from their website. When the WunderEggs are released, a similar availability can be expected.
