Savoury pastry company extends their plant based selection of pasties
Two new products and one new rebrand make up Ginsters plant-based range, catering for vegans, veggies, flexitarians or those looking for something new to try.
The new products are:
- NEW Ginsters Bombay Potato & Spinach Pasty (180g): An aromatic blend of bold and vibrant Bombay Potato and spinach in a spicy chilli sauce with tomato, onion, and garlic, wrapped in a light melt-in-your-mouth puff pastry. Available from 27th September at Co-op, 18th October at Asda and 6th November at Tesco, RRP ÂŁ1.70.
- NEW Ginsters Cajun Spiced Sweet Potato & Chickpea Pasty (180g): A spicy taste sensation of sweet potato, chickpeas, red peppers, and onion in a Cajun style tomato sauce, wrapped in a light melt-in-your-mouth puff pastry. Available at Asda from 18th October, RRP ÂŁ1.70.
These will be on sale alongside the brandâs existing Moroccan Vegetable Pasty, Quorn Roll and Quorn Peppered Steak pasty.
Commenting on the launch Sam Mitchell, Ginsters Managing Director, said: âWe are confident that our new vegan pasty range will meet the shoppersâ need for a delicious meat-free meal to perk up their busy working days, with a more adventurous flavour profile, and all the credibility of a well-established brand.â
We absolutely love seeing non-vegan companies taking veganism in their stride and smashing it with their plant based options. Consumers are definitely changing the way companies chose their next products to go on the shelves and itâs important these brands are supported so they continue to create more and more vegan options.
