Reportedly, the Fowler Township Police Department in Ohio is planning to host a cruel âyouth hunt contestâ on October 14, during which children of all ages would hunt squirrels for prizes. Supporters allege that the activity is a family-friendly âsport,â but in no other team or individual competition are opponents chased down and killed! Kids who are taught to hunt are actually being taught that itâs OK to kill animals for âfun,â and in the process wild families are torn apart and orphaned young are left to starve.
Your voice is needed. Please urge Fowler Township police and city officials to ditch cruelty and instead promote a message of mercy and compassion.
