We Brits are a lucky lot because each week sees a host of new vegan product launches hitting supermarket shelves.
With so many vegan product launches each week, it can be difficult to keep up!
That’s why we’ll be bringing you that latest product news so you never have to miss a plant-based launch again.
1. A ground-breaking new burger from Finnebrogue
Family-owned brand Finnebrogue Artisan has announced a new burger it claims will rival the Beyond Burger.
The Naked Evolution Burgers will retail at £3.00 per pack of two and will launch initially in Waitrose, Ocado and Dunnes Stores.
The burgers are made from pea protein and are both soya and gluten-free.
2. Candy Kittens enters gummy sweet category with ‘Gourmies’
Candy Kittens has launched three gourmet flavours of gummy sweets with a range of brand new ‘Gourmies’.
The sweets are designed for “grown-up palates” with mouth-watering Orchard Apple & Dragon Fruit, Sweet Raspberry & Guava, and Blood Orange & Pomegranate flavours.
Gourmies have already launched on the brand’s online store and will be rolling out to Ocado, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco at a recommended retail price of £2 per 125g recyclable bag.
3. New Bosh ready meals in Morrisons
A range of six chilled vegan ready meals from BOSH! has launched in Morrisons.
The vegan ready meals, including Shepherd’s pie and Chilli non-Carne, launched in stores on 13th September and retail at £4 each.
The range will launch exclusively into 472 Morrisons stores but is expected to roll out to all stores next year.
4. Greggs launches hot breakfast sandwiches
Greggs has further expanded its vegan range with two new hot breakfast roll fillings.
Hungry vegans on the go can choose from vegan sausage or vegan bacon in their most important meal of the day.
Greggs’ vegan range also includes hash browns and a range of sweet treats and savoury pastries.
5. Costa now serves vegan ‘bacon’ rolls
Looking for tasty options for a hot vegan breakfast? Well, Costa has also launched a meat-free bacon sandwich.
The new Bac’n Bap is available as part of the coffee chain’s autumn menu and is made from Finnebrogue’s Naked Without The Oink Bacon.
6. Look out for new Greedy Vegan service
The newly launched subscription service offers vegan proteins direct to your door.
Greedy Vegan are on a mission to make switching to plant-based diets simpler by offering an easy way to get hold of well-known vegan brands.
The service currently operates only in South London but is set on expansion in the near future!
