The Vegan Camp Out festival is taking place in Newark this weekend, and TheVeganKind will be there! Come and visit us there!
The event, which claims to be the world’s biggest vegan festival and the most extensive vegan camping, will last two days from August 20 and 22.
Ten thousand vegans from around the UK and abroad will have the chance to experience a weekend of live music, workshops, yoga and meditation classes, fitness, family activities, talk events and lots of delicious vegan food.
This year’s event will welcome celebrities Russell Brand and Chris Packham to speak about their plant-based diets. Vegan Camp Out 2021 line-up includes Fiona Oakes, Patrik Baboumian, BOSH, Heather Mills, Genesis Butler, Joey Carbstrong, Benjamin Zephaniah, Mobius Loop, P Money and Cosmic Skeptic.
TheVeganKind will be there, too! On our brand new stand, you will find vegan snacks, sweets and drinks. We will also be selling vegan toiletries.
On the first day, we will give away 300 Love Raw bars to the first 300 people who attend the stall and say a password.
Since 2018, the festival has brought its quirky activities and meat and dairy-free treats to Newark Showground. This year’s event hopes to make up for 2020’s postponement.
As the tickets include camping, visitors can stay overnight in tents or caravans parked at the showground.
Jordan Martin, founder and director of Vegan Camp Out, said: “Tickets for this year’s event went on sale in November and we’ve sold more than we ever have in the past. We sold over 7,000 tickets in 2019 and this year we are on track to sell 10,000.
“Russell Brand will be there and so will Chris Packham. They are both well-known in the vegan world and for the last two or three years, Russell has been one of our most requested guests. There will be a music stage where acts such as Benjamin Zephaniah & The Revolutionary Minds and grime artist P Money will be headlining on separate days to provide entertainment.
“We will have lots of vegan food cooks there as well throughout the weekend making lots of different cuisines.”
