HiP’s Christmas chocolate countdown
For the perfect plant-based countdown to Christmas, a new Salted Caramel Advent Calendar from HiP is coming, and it’s available to order now.
The eye-catching calendar features 24 deliciously creamy H!P Salted Caramel squares, made from oat-milk chocolate. Not only that, but the calendar is also 100% plastic-free, in line with the brand’s eco and sustainable ethos.
And if that’s not enough festive flavour, HiP has also launched a Festive Gingerbread Oat Milk Chocolate Bar to tickle your fancy.
Both the advent calendar (£10) and the gorgeously giftable chocolate bar (£3) are available to order through HiP’s website now.
Pukka teams up with Applewood to make cheesy vegan pie
Popular pie producer Pukka has released its third vegan offering, this time in collaboration with Applewood vegan cheese.
The Vegan Smoky Cheddar Flavour & Onion pie joins the brand’s existing Vegan Chicken & Mushroom and Vegan Minced Steak & Onion pies to form a varied range of tasty-but-affordable vegan pies to enjoy at home.
The new pie is available in Morrisons for £1.89 (just 9p more than its dairy-based counterpart) and will be launching in Tesco in early November 2021.
Nutrilicious Pumpkin Seeds
A new flavour of crunchy pumpkin seed snack has launched from London-based business Nutrilicious.
The new Himalayan Salt flavoured pumpkin seeds are high in fibre and contain 10g of plant protein per pack.
As well as appealing to those with nut allergies, the pumpkin seed snack boasts being significantly more sustainable than nuts too, whilst offering more protein and far fewer carbs.
Nutrilicious Vegan Himalayan Salt pumpkin seeds can be found in Morrisons for £1 per 33g bag or bought in bulk through the Nutrilicious website.
An indulgent vegan drink from Amarula
South African cream liqueur brand Amarula is launching a vegan version of its fruity cream liqueur.
Like the brand’s flagship beverage, it’s made with the African marula fruit, paired with flavours of coconut, caramel, and vanilla, but the new variant uses coconut milk instead of cow’s milk.
The 70cl bottle is currently only available to order through the global travel channels, but if you’re planning an international flight soon, keep an eye out for samples of this new drink in key airports worldwide.
Now that’s a M… F… cookbook
Meatless Farm has launched a new cookbook, titled Make It Meatless, and it’s free to download!
The cookbook was created to “invigorate your tastebuds, delight your eyes, help your pocket and support the planet, all at the same time.”
All the recipes in this 40-page book have been provided by real people and include moreish mid-week meals ranging from Spen Cooks’ Dan Dan noodles to mouth-watering hangover destroyers from Lucy and Lentil’s Keema Curry to Real Foodie’s Sticky Thai Spice Meatballs with Rice.
Meatless Farm is working with ReThink Food and will donate a growing tower to a local school for every 1000 Make it Meatless book downloads. Growing towers enable schools to grow and harvest fresh salad and vegetables food year-round right from their classroom.
You can download your copy of Make It Meatless through the Meatless Farm website.
