While hundreds of major designers and retailers around the world—including Arc’teryx, Canada Goose, Columbia Sportswear, Fjällräven, Helly Hansen, The North Face, Patagonia, and REI—have committed to not using fur, Moncler continues to profit from the deaths of raccoon dogs, foxes, coyotes, and other animals. Urge this Italian company known for its outerwear to ban fur immediately!

PETA entities have repeatedly exposed egregious abuse in the fur trade. Before they’re killed, animals on fur farms are crammed into small wire cages that cut into their feet and many slowly go insane and even self-mutilate from the stress of intensive confinement. PETA U.S.’ investigation into a fur farm in Wisconsin revealed foxes being killed inside a makeshift gas chamber. Footage from fur farms in China shows raccoon dogs being slammed to the ground and beaten before their skin is peeled off. One animal even lifts his head and blinks after his skin has been removed. Coyotes who are trapped in their natural homes can suffer for days from blood loss and infection—without shelter from freezing temperatures—before the trapper returns to bludgeon, shoot, or kill them in some other horrific way.

All animals deserve equal consideration. They can experience pain, suffering, joy, and fear, just as we can. Coyotes and raccoon dogs are loyal animals who form strong bonds with their mates. Foxes raise their babies communally, and raccoons are resourceful problem-solvers who can figure out even the trickiest locks. But Moncler treats these animals as if they were nothing more than coat trim.

Please help suffering animals by urging Moncler to ban fur immediately!
