Today Barbi and Ana chat about liver health with Amy Symington.  Amy is a long time vegan and volunteer with the TVA. Amy is a nutrition professor, researcher and plant-based chef at George Brown College.  In addition to working on her PhD at the University of Toronto, she runs the culinary nutrition programming at Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto, a not-for-profit organization for those touched by cancer. Amy believes in the evidence-based health and environmental benefits of plant-based diets and is the author of The Long Table Cookbook: Plant-based recipes for optimal health. Join us as we learn more about Amy and how to maintain a healthy liver.

Eating for liver disease is a wonderful summary of some of the key points Amy shares with us and Nutrition treatment of liver cirrhosis is the resource she used when preparing this summary.
