In a move to bring more options to flexitarians, vegans, and vegetarians alike, 7-Eleven Canada now has Lightlife Plant-Based Chick’n Tenders available at more than 600 stores across Canada.

Vegan Options at 7-Eleven

The vegan chicken tenders from Lightlife Foods are available 24 hours a day at participating 7-Eleven stores across the country. This addition makes it easier than ever for customers to choose a vegan option at 7-Eleven, and the store’s late hours mean there’s a vegan option no matter what time of day it is.

Served hot and straight out of the oven, the vegan tenders can be ordered in person or via delivery apps (Uber Eats and DoorDash) and 7-Eleven’s own delivery service 7NOW. 7NOW offers 24-hour delivery service on a variety of 7-Eleven products in about 30 minutes. Customers can earn 7Rewards points when ordering through 7NOW and for a limited time, 7-Eleven is offering the chance to win $2,022 to customers who scan their 7Rewards barcode when purchasing the Lightlife Plant-Based Chick’n Tenders.

Lightlife Foods’ Expansion in Canada

Earlier this month, KFC Canada announced that the Lightlife plant-based fried chicken they had been testing will now be a permanent fixture on the menu at stores across the country. Customers can enjoy the plant-based chicken on a chicken sandwich but will need to request that the mayo be omitted for the meal to be vegan. New to the KFC Canada menu is vegan popcorn chicken (also made with Lightlife vegan chicken), which will be available for a limited time.

Mary Brown’s Chicken—a Canadian-based fried chicken restaurant—also announced a partnership with Lightlife Foods this month. For a limited time, customers can try the plant-based chicken tenders in a 3- or 5-count and two variations of Sidekick fried chicken sandwiches. While the Sidekick sandwiches aren’t suitable for vegans, as the sauces contain egg, the tenders are fully-plant based.

Finally, 7-Eleven Canada is now also carrying Field Roast Plant-Based Pepperoni as a topping option to its Take & Bake Pizzas. Visit 7-eleven.ca for more information about 7-Eleven’s partnerships with Lightlife Foods and Field Roast.
