There is nothing more despicable and angering than animal abuse. What Vegan News has discovered is both shocking and heartbreaking.

People are staging dangerous, deadly and abusive situations in fake animal rescue videos on youtube all in an effort to earn thousands of dollars for the views.

This topic surfaced during my research over the last several months. Youtubers Nick Crowley, Some Ordinary Gamer, Paymoneywubby, Officer Paw Patrol and others were coming up in searches with their own videos exposing these fake channels for the past several months.

Many of the youtubers who made videos have large fan bases and rallied those bases to mass report these videos to youtube which has had little to no effect as new channels continue to pop up daily.

Nick Crowley’s first two videos in particular hit me hard and revealed the names of many channels and their abuses while his newest video on the subject reveals that many of the fake rescue channels changed their names and hid videos due to his and others exposing the abuses perpetrated on innocent kittens and puppies.

The fake rescue videos that started as abuse have gone beyond that now and have become deadly for many of the animals placed in these dangerous situations.

YouTube itself is responsible for this escalation in tactics by these disgusting channels. Youtube ignored the many outcries from both large youtubers on its platforms and from the legions of their fans reporting the videos.

Youtube has told these sick individuals that they can operate with impunity and march forward with the google owned company hand in hand making money from ad revenue off of the backs, tails and paws of animals abused for entertainment.

Pointed out in Nick Crowley’s most recent video is the channel Yorquy who has changed its name to Love Kittens and has escalated to killing at least one kitten and severely maiming another along side a busy road they openly display on video as the kitten struggles in pain with paralyzed back legs.

Animal rescue videos have become an easy way to make a vast amount of money on youtube and other social media platforms. That’s a good thing for legitimate animal rescues since it provides an income stream for what they are already doing but it has become high jacked with no end in sight.

Indeed animal rescue videos are almost designed to go viral as they tug on the heart strings and compassion of the average person.

The exploitation of this “genre” of online video has been blatantly ignored by youtube while they and the perpetrators reap financial rewards.

What proof do I have that these channels are faking rescues? Well for one many are very obvious when you see a dog or cat with their head or body jammed into something where they couldn’t possibly have done it on their own.

An obvious piece of proof are channels reusing the same kittens and puppies in different “rescue” videos. On the “Rescue Dog, Cats” channel this man is seen rescuing this black kitten in this video from blank and then in a later video he has stuck this same kitten to a glue trap.

The pain and fear this little kitten is going through as they cry and struggle to break free is heartbreaking to say the least.

Another give away that these channels are fake is that when one of these channels has a successful viral video of a certain rescue scenario they will replicate it again and again and so will other channels.

A great example of this is the “rescue” of kittens from truck tires where the kittens were obviously jammed into to be found. Somehow the “rescuers” just know where to go to find and “save” these animals.

Snakes attacking kittens and puppies has been the latest craze amongst these channels and it’s without out a doubt killed several of the featured animals they put in harms way of venomous snakes that repeatedly bite and inject their small bodies with neurotoxins.

The channel “Rescue Kitty” also features impossible situations like a cat being “rescued” from beneath a buried rock and they too are using the same cats repeatedly in separate “rescue” videos on their channel.

In the course of this investigation we found over 100 different fake animal rescue channels actively producing and posting content to youtube with monetization on.

Consider the abuse just one of these channels is causing and then multiply that by 100 or more and you begin to see the true scale of this situation that is growing by the day.

The most egregious channel I found called “Pets Rescue Club” despite being only two months old, has already killed 5 puppies and kittens in just the past month.

They do this by making the rescue situations even more dangerous like taking the much repeated garbage dump rescue to an extreme by lighting the garbage pile on fire and placing the kitten at the center of the mound so they can pretend to be a hero.

Or instead of rescuing a puppy or kitten struggling to swim they place them in a bag where they drown while struggling for the camera.

These exploitative videos can easily be stopped by youtube but only if we speak out and make our voices heard by youtube and anyone else who will listen!

Below in the video description or comments you will find a link to both a petition calling on YouTube to end these horrifying videos and links to the channels and videos that need to be reported.

Together we are going to end this.
